Two beliefs drive everything I do. They're simple; but once you see them, you can't unsee them.
Everything in the world exists, but not everything is in the right place. Resources, people, and opportunities are already out there. They just need to find each other. That's where connectors come in.
Everyone has goals. From billionaires to people who are struggling, every single person has aspirations. Many just need the right question, the right connection, to get closer to them.
Three questions. Two minutes. You'll know exactly where you stand and what your next step is.
Growing up in Leusden, I inherited my father's passion for motorsport. At 17 I got my racing license. At 18, my first race. Seven seasons and 70+ races later (all self-funded through sponsor relationships) I discovered my real superpower wasn't driving. It was connecting.
My first Monaco Grand Prix in 2014 changed everything. Within 24 hours I knew I'd never miss another. At 27, an ADHD diagnosis finally helped me understand myself. What felt like a disadvantage became my edge. Today I live near Monaco and work to inspire a global movement of connectors.
#IICDISCY : If I can do it, so can you.Every week I go live and ask the room three questions. What follows changes lives.
Start with who you are, not what you do for a living.
Get specific. The clearer the goal, the better the connection.
Ask the room. Every single time, 3–10 people step forward.
No business cards in the bin. Real introductions, right then and there.
Bring the Daan Connects format to your conference. Live connection sessions your audience will remember for years.
